An absolutely awesome Barn Rat Saturday! The kids rolled up their sleeves and dove right into real barn life—cleaning stalls, scrubbing and refilling water buckets, tossing hay, and measuring grain like seasoned barn hands. After chores, we explored horse colors and markings, learning how every horse wears its own unique “coat of many stories.”
Then came the highlight of the morning: we brought Faith out of the paddock. The kids studied her carefully and sketched her markings, then groomed her until she shone. They proudly walked her around the ring, gaining confidence with every step.
We wrapped up the day with a creative horse-themed craft, and each child added their own imaginative twist—no two looked alike!
Such a fun and meaningful morning at the barn. We’ve got two more Saturdays left in this unit—come join the fun and learn alongside us!
